Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Thryv Studio (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit thryvstudio.com or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Information we collect
- What you send us. When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, website URL (optional) and your message. If you email or call us, we receive the details you share.
- The free AI Visibility Check. When you run it we receive your brand name, website, what you sell, your market and your email address. We send the brand, website, category and market (never your email) to AI providers such as OpenAI, Google, Perplexity, Anthropic and xAI to ask the check's questions, and keep the result for a few days so a repeat check is instant.
- Bookings. “Book a Call” takes you to Calendly, which collects the details you enter there under Calendly’s privacy policy.
- Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running.
Cookies and analytics
We do not use advertising cookies. We use Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies, to understand which pages help visitors. It records things like the pages you view, how you arrived, your approximate location, device and browser, and actions such as sending a form or clicking “Book a Call”, under Google’s own privacy policy.
You can turn analytics off with Google’s opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser’s settings.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to provide our services.
- To send you information you asked for, such as an audit, a visibility report or a proposal.
- To limit how often forms and free tools can be used from one connection. For this we store a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for up to a day, never the address itself.
- To protect the site and our systems from abuse.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host, email provider, Google Analytics and the AI providers that answer the visibility check, and only for the purposes above. They are bound to protect it. We may also disclose information if the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside your country; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client records for as long as the engagement and our legal obligations require. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent you have given. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 or the EU/UK GDPR. To make a request, email sales@thryvstudio.com. We will respond within the time the applicable law requires.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are for businesses. The site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
